Pablo Toledo

Cambridge University Press & Assessment
Pablo is an English teacher and teacher trainer (ISP “Joaquín V. González”). He holds a Postgraduate Advanced Certificate in Educational Assessment from the University of Cambridge and a Diploma in Education Policy from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Before joining Cambridge University Press & Assessment, he managed projects in the areas of remote teaching, internationalisation of higher education and language teaching to refugees for the British Council and led the Education department of the Buenos Aires Herald newspaper.
Gladys Quevedo Camargo

Gladys holds a PhD in Language Studies and works with English language teaching and teacher education at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation at the University of Brasília (UnB), located in the capital of Brazil. She also coordinates the Applied Linguistics Post-graduation Program at the same university. Her main areas of interest and research are language testing, classroom language assessment and language assessment literacy.
Nayibe Rosado

Nayibe is associate professor at Universidad del Norte, Colombia and one of the co-founders of LAALTA. Her general research interests reside in the intersection of student learning and teacher learning and how language affects the construction of reality in contexts such as classrooms and in other institutions that surround us.
Walter Araya

Universidad de Costa Rica
Walter is an associate professor and researcher at Universidad de Costa Rica, Costa Rica. His general research interests reside in language testing and language assessment literacy. He currently coordinates the Language Assessment and Training Program (PELEx) at the University of Costa Rica.
Mónica Rodriguez-Bonces

Mónica holds a PhD in Regional and Economic Integration and Development; in the area of Education with emphasis in Curriculum Development and Bilingual Education. She has done research on Culture, Bilingual Ed. and Professional Development. Monica is currently the Alliance Developer for LATAM for Digital Bridges Alliance and Teacher for Rock Hill Schools.
Adriano Roggiero

Adriano is an English teacher and teacher trainer. He has been working with EFL, language assessment, and language policies for over 15 years. Currently he is the manager of CEIP Idiomas in Perú and is a British Council teacher trainer.

Elsa Fernanda Gonzalez holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics and ELT from the University of Southampton. She is a recipient of the 2015 Research Assessment Award from the British Council and currently works at the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas as the BA in Applied Linguistics coordinator. Her areas of interest include classroom assessment of ESL/EFL productive skills and assessment literacy.

Gerriet is a Research Scientist at ETS. His current research interests are centered on the development of tests of second language writing, improving the quality of feedback provided to test takers, and exploring the principles of socio-culturally responsive assessments. Gerriet is one of the founding members of LAALTA.
Sonia Patricia Hernández-Ocampo

Sonia is an associate professor at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. She is a language teacher educator. She holds a Ph.D in Education from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia, and a Master’s degree in Education from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Her research interest focuses on language assessment literacy for language teachers.
Lourdes Rey

Lourdes is an English teacher, teacher educator and researcher. Currently, she is the Director of the Department of Foreign Languages at Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia. Her research interests include classroom assessment and testing, curriculum review and design, teacher development, English language teaching and learning, and internationalization of Higher Education.
Juliana Tonelli

Juliana Tonelli holds an MA and a PhD in Language Studies, and postdoctoral studies on teachers’ education and teaching of English. She is Associate Professor at the Londrina State University, Brazil. Her research includes additional languages, bi/multi and plurilinguism in Early Childhood and to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Charles Stansfield

Language Learning and Testing Foundation
Charles has been a leader in language testing for over 45 years. During his career, he has been a member of the faculty of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Colorado, an Associate Program Director for TOEFL at Educational Testing Service, Director of Foreign Language Education and Testing at the Center for Applied Linguistics, and founder of Second Language Testing, Inc., a successful small business. He has published widely in the field, on the testing of all four skills, plus translation, interpreting, LSP and language aptitude. He was the founding president of the International Language Testing Association and is a recipient of its Lifetime Achievement Award.

Salomé is Assistant Professor at Universidad Alberto Hurtado, Chile and one of the LAALTA co-founders. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Lancaster University, UK, and an MA from Melbourne University, Australia. Her research interests include language assessment literacy development in the teaching profession and language testing in teacher education.
Camilo Ramos Gálvez

Camilo is a teacher of English with an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and is currently doing a PhD in Applied Linguistics at Lancaster University. He has worked as a school teacher and is a lecturer in Santiago, Chile. Camilo is a past President of TESOL Chile.
Claudia Vasquez

Claudia is an applied linguist, and her research interests are situated in the field of (instructed) second and foreign language acquisition with a focus on L2 Spanish and English learning and teaching. Her main research focus is to investigate distinctive features of learner language proficiency, the longitudinal development of language proficiency and competence in learners and how task-based classroom instruction may support language and discourse development across proficiency levels

Liberato is an English teacher and Portuguese lecturer at Instituto Federal de Goiás, Brazil. He is currently a doctoral student in Applied Linguistics & Technology at Iowa State University, USA. His interests include language assessment and testing, pronunciation assessment, oral and written academic communication, CALL, and teacher training.
